My Travel Story

My name is Samitha Pasindun, and I have always thought that a single picture can change the world. From the busy streets of faraway cities to the calm scenery of remote villages, my journey as a wandering photographer has allowed me to capture the spirit of humanity in all its forms. But now, I face a task that I cannot solve alone.

As I travel through towns and countrysides, I am constantly reminded of the faces of children filled with hope despite their difficulties, and the hands of the needy reaching out for help. These moments, frozen in time through my lens, tell stories that words often cannot. Yet, my present tools limits my ability to truly showcase their beauty and struggles.

With a new camera and required tools, I imagine making a powerful series of photos that will not only catch these touching and heart-wrenching moments but also inspire action. My dream is to sell these shots, with every penny made going directly to help poor children and those in need. Each picture will be a step towards making a better future for them.

However, I cannot do this alone. I am calling out to you, not just as a photographer, but as someone who believes in the power of community and kindness. Your support can help me receive the tools I need to continue my journey, to shine a light on the stories that matter, and to make a tangible change in the lives of those who need it most.
