My Travel Story

When I first stepped into a top leadership role, I quickly realized how isolating it could be. Making decisions for a whole company is stressful, and there weren’t many people I could turn to for honest advice without feeling judged. I knew I needed a way to connect with others who really understood the challenges of leading at this level.

That’s when I discovered a program that can convene thoughtfully organized CEO peer advisory groups. Being part of this kind of network changed everything. In a space where everyone faced similar responsibilities, we could openly discuss our challenges, share practical solutions, and learn from each other’s successes and mistakes. It wasn’t just about business strategies—it was also about seeing how others approached leadership and accountability.

Over time, the insights I gained from these conversations shaped how I manage my team and make decisions. Hearing different perspectives and getting constructive feedback helped me avoid mistakes I might have made on my own, and it gave me confidence in the choices I was making.

Beyond problem-solving, the group also became a source of encouragement. Knowing that others faced similar pressures and still found ways to succeed made the day-to-day challenges easier to handle. The accountability built into these gatherings keeps you focused and intentional in how you lead.

Joining a structured network like this is more than just networking. It’s about forming real relationships with peers who challenge, support, and inspire you, while helping you grow as a leader and navigate your company’s path with clarity and purpose.
