Hello. My name is Sergey, from early childhood, well, maybe not from early childhood, maybe from the appearance of the cartoon Madagascar :) I began to get interested in the history of this wonderful island. Madagascar is called the Seventh Continent. More than 80 percent of the flora and fauna that can be seen here are found nowhere else in the world. Giraffe beetles, fossa beetles, and, of course, lemurs live only here. Humans were the last to come here, just 2,000 years ago, but during that time they destroyed 90 percent of the forests. The remaining ones continue to be destroyed 24 hours a day. The only exceptions are territories declared nature reserves and national parks.
Every day, scientists and enthusiasts fight to save rare and endangered species of plants and animals of Madagascar. Unfortunately, they are gradually losing this battle to the growing local population living in abject poverty, and when it comes to salvation, they choose in favor of their hungry children.
Therefore, as they say, hurry to see, the later you arrive in Madagascar, the fewer endemics you will be able to see there. Unfortunately. I dream of making my childhood dream come true and have time to see this wonderful world, and I also dream of proposing marriage to my soul mate♥️♥️
