A Dream That Feels Out of Reach: My Journey to Becoming a Healthcare Professional

For as long as I can remember, I have dreamt of a career where I can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, especially in the healthcare industry. My passion for helping others has been the driving force in my journey, but unfortunately, the road to achieving this dream has not been easy.

Over the years, I have faced countless financial struggles and been met with denial after denial in my efforts to secure a job to fund my future. Each rejection has been a blow, and the weight of stress has started to take a toll on my health. There have been sleepless nights, moments of doubt, and a sense of despair that I’m not sure I can overcome. But despite all of this, I refuse to give up on my dream.

The biggest challenge right now is an exam that is required to get licensed in my field—an exam that is unfortunately not available in my country. In order to pursue my career and secure a job, I need to pass this exam. But to take it, I have no choice but to travel abroad. The cost of flights, accommodation, and other expenses are simply beyond my reach, and it feels like an insurmountable obstacle standing between me and my future.

But this isn’t just about an exam—it’s about the opportunity to help others. By passing this exam and obtaining my license, I will be one step closer to becoming a healthcare professional who can contribute to the well-being of others, who can offer care, support, and compassion to those who need it most.
