My name is Roberta Ferreira Rodrigues, and I am an immigrant making her way through the women's sports industry. As I approach the end of grad school, I am currently working on my MBA capstone research titled "Identifying potential conflicts and points of convergence between the WNBPA and the WNBA in the negotiations of the next CBA." 

Participating in the ESPNW Summit 2024 would be a game-changer for me, especially considering my extensive background of 15+ years in women's sports coverage and international experience in the women's basketball industry. This event offers a golden opportunity to expand my network within the industry, connecting with professionals, athletes, and experts who could potentially become collaborators, mentors, or even future employers.

in addition, attending the summit would provide unique access to data and insights that could significantly enrich my capstone. Being able to interact directly with industry leaders and gather firsthand information would undoubtedly give me a wider opportunity to reach players and executives.

This would represent not only professional growth but also a dream realized—a moment where my academic journey and my longstanding passion for women's basketball converge seamlessly, propelling me toward my aspirations in the sports industry.
