Hello to all of you kind donors. 

My dear friend passed 4 years ago all of a sudden, his heart just stopped. It was hard to travel back then due to... you might remember what we went through those years. I live in Spain and he lived in Thessalonikki - Greece. 

We met at university and we bonded instantly, I looked after him when he was down, and his family adopted me ever since. We were not friends, we were brothers. 

This year I have decided to face the pain, and accept that my friend is no longer with us. I will be visiting his dearly family who is my adopted family and despite my will to continue living in denial... his resting place. 

His brother expects a baby, just around the anniversary date and I think I ran out of excuses, selfsabotage strategies and what not... It's time to pay respects to them all. 

I already bought the flight even though my finances are slightly compromised but it had to be done. Only recently I came across the website, and thought I'd accept some help if I was lucky enough. I'll admit it feels alien to me, I'm not used to asking for anything.
