Literature Program for Study Abroad in the UK
My Travel Story
So I am hoping to study abroad in the UK this upcoming summer for 4 weeks. The program is a literature and culture study and it would take place at Edge Hill University in Ormskirk, England. I am an English Education major at Grand Valley State University and this study abroad trip would give me the opportunity to complete my last 6 credits for my English major, along with travel to schools in the UK and view/assist teachers while there. This is the perfect opportunity for me to gain experience for teaching and in the English field. My goal from this study abroad is to learn and grow as a future English educator so that I can provide future students with the best possible teaching experience that I can provide.
So here comes the fun part:
When it comes to studying abroad, it obviously costs a lot of money that I, unfortunately, cannot completely come up with. Financially, I am struggling to pay for school, and adding this into it makes it even harder to pay. Even with scholarships to help for some of the trip, it does not come close to the full amount that it will take to travel to the UK this summer. I am hoping that anyone would be willing to help me out and help fund my trip to help further my academic and future career as an educator.
I'm not saying you have to donate, and if you don't donate, it is completely fine! I am just hopeful that I can receive a little help for funding my trip for Study Abroad.
