My Travel Story

I have been passionate about international environment since my early school years - thanks to my parents -, and it hasn't changed during university at all. My friends and I are always looking for new possibilities to travel and to be a part of a new cultural experience. I've had the chance to be an exchange student for a year in Germany 2 years ago, during my bachelor studies, and that has left a significant mark on my personality - and my German knowledge as well.
I now have a semester ahead in Greece, which brings me back those feelings I felt before my last mobility. Except that now I know the odds and don'ts I should not fall for this time. I couldn't be more excited, devoted and motivated than this and here is what I have planned for myself during this time:
- Since this is going to be my final year at Masters I will focus on my educational excellence and thesis during most of my time in order to be able to graduate.
- Greece offers a wide cultural diversity, especially at a university, which I am eager to dive into and fill myself up with experience and knowledge from others.
- I would like to offer a social basis for my peers-to-be at university in order to have a tighter cross-cultural bond and knowledge about each other and our supporting nations.
- And last but not least...Greece is fantastic - as far as my friends told me - I would like this country to burn into my memories as my home for the most exciting 6 months, and place for such memories that I couldn't even imagine or dream of while writing these lines.

Thank you for everyone who is willing to support my journey in any ways!
Hope to see you in Greece!

I want to make this semester as memorable for those who would be there with me as I imagine it for myself. It is inevitable (for me, at least) to 'feel' the place where I am currently located upside-down and to understand it. For that you need to leave the house and get lost. Talk to local strangers. And to confide in them. I hope I will have the chance to go around the area and find material to build around and support my master's thesis and spice it up a little bit with whatever affect Greece is going to have on me.

In the video I uploaded you can see how we spent last summer, right after graduation. I was incredibly happy to have
1. finished bachelor,
2. worked during this time,
3. friends to be in the same boat with and who are willing to enjoy good times.
I hope you get the same feeling of that video that my intentions were while making it - the joy of sharing. And not in the worn-out, ambiguous, 21st century's social media based meaning. But when you have someone close to you who you are happy to be more happy with.
