My Travel Story

We are Martin & Nia, an adventurous travel couple from Bulgaria with insatiable curiosity and great ambitions.

We believe that travel can be accessible and fun for everyone and we want to show the world that you don't need anything more than curiosity, open heart and a backpack to make your dreams come true. This is not a fundraiser to finance somebody's vacation, but a meaningful way to contribute to a project bigger than ourselves - a project that will hopefully motivate other curious souls to make the step towards their own adventure of a lifetime, without being scared about their finances, organization and the unknown.

On 2 September 2024 we are taking a one-way ticket to Jakarta, Indonesia and are starting our 2-3 years around the globe trip. We are going through Southeast Asia, India, Nepal, the bigger part of the Americas and Central Asia. Every step of the way is going to be documented with our camera and in our travel blog, so that you can be part of the adventure. We will systematically post tips, tricks, budget and itineraries. A lot of "budget" travel bloggers out there claim they can travel on the "ultra budget" of 50$ a day per person, which is honestly insane and unrealistic for the less privileged travelers. We, as a couple, are usually on travelling with 25$ a day total and we have proven many times that this budget is more than enough to have a meaningful trip without sacrificing anything of note. That's why even smaller contributions to our budget make a huge impact. Every 25$ we get is one more day on the road, learning, exploring and sharing with you.

We also plan on volunteering and giving back to the communities all over the globe. For every 100$ collected, we will give 10% for a good cause or people in need along the way.

After the end of our around the globe trip, we are going to release a travel guide and a photobook. Any contributors over 50$ will receive an exclusive 25% DISCOUNT once the photobooks hit the market, so make sure to stay tuned in for the ride.

The donations will go towards setting up a proper website, getting the required gear and visas, and dealing with transport in the more challenging areas.
