When I discovered Hopeland I knew that it was the place for me to dedicate my time to and help! Hopelands message is very clear, to provide a life full of love, care, and hope to all of the dogs who were not shown love previously. The sanctuary is changing the lives of hundreds of dogs and I cannot wait to help out as much as I can.

This experience is very important to me as I had been searching for a volunteering opportunity that was non profit and that I could truly make a difference doing. I am a full-time student studying Biology and Psychology on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and have always been extremely passionate about exploring the world and helping those who can't advocate for themselves. I am striving to go to medical school in my future to earn a platform where I can provide care for those who are most vulnerable.

Volunteering at Hopeland will allow me to step off the island and make an impact in the lives of the dogs who deserve it most!
