I am writing to you today to seek your generous support in making my dream a reality – to travel from South Africa to New Zealand to introduce my girlfriend to my mother and then together with her, travel to her family in Zimbabwe to pay lobola, a traditional custom in Zimbabwean culture that signifies the formalization of a marriage agreement.
 
Being unemployed has made it challenging for me to pursue my dreams, including my desire to start a family with my Zimbabwean girlfriend. The current economic climate in South Africa has particularly affected employment opportunities for white males, making it even more difficult to secure financial stability.
 
This fundraiser aims to raise $6000 to cover the expenses of my trip to New Zealand and Zimbabwe. This includes transportation costs, accommodation, and the necessary lobola payment.
