October of 2022 my partner got hit by a car and it altered our lives in so many ways. The last 10 months we're spent enduring multiple surgeries, us processing this trauma, petty misunderstandings due to the frustrations we let build up--so many different things that put a huge divot on our relationship. Now that my partner is on the upswing, we want to finally take that vacation we've always dreamed of! Life is too short and tomorrow isn't promised; that's the new mindset we share.
