I am raising funds for my friend to visit his son David who has been in hospital since November 17th, 2023.

His son who just turned 16 years old on April 13th had a very bad ATV accident that almost ended his life, which put him in a coma for almost 3 weeks.

They had to remove his right bone flap because it was too swollen.vHe was also in a breathing tube for a month because that spot in the brain was affected, he was in intensive care for over 3 months, he was also getting fevers that were life-threatening at the time, and was fed only through his nose to the stomach. Half of his body can’t move because the brain got too damaged, and his brain has to retrain as a newborn baby does.

He is starting to talk now and the feeding is directly going to the stomach through the tube that can be removed after feeding.

It’s going to take many more months for him to get better and the doctors said he will never be 100% ever again, he was a healthy teenager not long ago.

His mother is with him but the father and three younger boys can't go visit because it is very expensive to travel by plane where they live.
