My Travel Story

I've had diabetes for awhile it's always been uncontrolled I tried to get the insulin pump but it was too expensive and Medicaid said my numbers were too out of control for them to get me one... Well that was when I was 12i am now 33 and finally got a pump!! Awesome right? I've had it only a few months and already it has made such a difference but most of the damage to my body and organs are already done I have neuropathy in both legs and now starting in my hands getting sharp jabs like lightning threw them sending bolts of electric pain then just recently I've had trouble not waking up to use the test room threw the night waking up wet or soiled upon going to the DR and winding up all but dead in the hospital we found out I am now in stage 5 kidney failure and some how I managed to pull threw when they didn't think I would now I've got to wait 5+ years for a kidney pancreas transplant but here is the kicker I will not be put on that list for at least a year due to my battle with addiction in order for them to Even consider id have to be clean a year which makes sense and I've got only 10 months left to go until I'm able to be put on the list as long as I don't mess up anymore I'm really trying hard but with my depression, anxiety, and negative thinking I'm over worried I won't make it to get a transplant and honestly I'm ok with that I mean I'm worried about my mom and how she'll handle it but other than that I'm ok to die I just want to go back where I'm from Idaho/Montana and go see my friends and family at least 1 last time give them some awesome memories to hold onto I want to hug my niece a little longer show my best friend how much she really means to me jump into my daddy's arms let him hug away the pain I want to introduce the man of my dreams to family and show him where i wanna born and grew up I wish I could travel to some exotic cool place but I have no money as this has made it hard to work but even then I'd still choose to go see family and friends I just wanna go home for a little bit
