My Travel Story

Twenty-one years ago I had the opportunity to complete my student teaching experience in London, England through the Florida State University Study Abroad Program. This experience and the associated opportunities shaped my professional career as a teacher. During that time I had the privilege of traveling to many neighboring countries, and Ireland had a significant impact on me. I knew that one day I would return to Ireland to experience its beauty and culture from a different perspective (age, time, global change, etc.). My goal for this trip is to experience incredible new foods, customs, traditions, and social atmospheres in an effort to help my students develop a global mindset. Personally, I would like to deepen my understanding and appreciation of Ireland's and history.
