My Travel Story
Hi, my name is Kelly, and I’m a mom reaching out with a hopeful heart and a heavy one too.
It’s been over two years since I’ve seen my daughter — two long years of birthdays, holidays, and everyday moments missed. She moved to Australia to start a new chapter in her life, and while I’m proud of her courage, the distance has left a hole in my heart that grows every day.
I haven’t been able to visit her — not once — and the truth is, I can’t afford to. I’ve been unemployed for the past year, doing everything I can just to keep from losing my home, but international travel is far beyond what I can manage right now. Every time we video call, I put on a smile, but behind it is the deep ache of a mom who just wants to hug her daughter, best friend, and road trip co-pilot.
That’s why I’m here. I’m humbly asking for your help to make this trip possible — to finally see my daughter, in person, after two years apart.
