My Travel Story

I had got a gift last Christmas, for a 3 day - 2 night stay at a 5 star resort and if I don't reserve our stay by 12/18, I will lose the opportunity. We will be getting married in February (small wedding as we have 5 kids and are struggling financially) and would really love to take our (delayed) honeymoon come March when kids go on spring break. I'm needing to come up with roughly $2000-$3000 for food, travel for 2 people, etc. from Des Moines, Iowa to San Antonio, Texas for 4-5 days (with travel). I've been trying to save since December 2022 but with kids and bills, it's been nearly impossible, even with 2 incomes & I work for the state & can barely survive with inflation. Hoping and Praying for a miracle to come before the holidays so I can make sure it is reserved and we have the funds for it in savings (the account attached is our savings account).
