My Travel Story

My name is Marinda, I fell in love with the justice system in my younger years watching Dr. G, Forensic Files, and Law and Order: SVU while growing up - it just took me a little bit longer to realize that's where I wanted to focus my aspirations. While abroad, I'll have the oppurtunity to study the code-based justice system in Hungary and its rich history. I find this so important to my proffessional growth because in the field of justice studies, it is important to be well-rounded and culturally aware of what other countries' justice systems are like. And this experience will be the begining of my culturally, legal-based, expansion of knowledge. Help me make this experience as rich as possible!

I am trying to raise money to off-set the program costs of the study abroad experience I will be taking part in this fall. The money donated to this page will be solely used to pay for my tuition, program fees, travel expenses (my plane ticket) and meal plan while abroad - not for excusions, souvinoirs or any other associated costs while on this trip. I am raising money so that it will be easier to pay for the necessary costs, so that I am more able to save money to pay for other experiences andwill be able to fully enjoy the experience while abroad
