My Travel Story

Hello, I am Hannah Christophe, and am currently looking for donations towards my teaching abroad experience in South Korea. Due to funding ending for COVID in many hospitals around Ontario, Canada, my position as a PSW was terminated. Finding a job in Toronto has been difficult and honestly unsuccessful. For me, what I do for work and where I work does not matter. I want to work in fulfilling positions and put myself in various opportunities to expand my work experience. Teaching abroad has been on my bucket list of occupational pursuits for a while and throughout my recent job search I came across programs recruiting for teachers in South Korea. After various interviews and a tedious application process, I have been accepted to teach at an institution in Seoul! I am very excited about this opportunity to teach abroad and embrace a whole new culture outside of my own. Recently, I have been looking for ways to raise money for travel and stay expenses as my bank account has taken quite a hit due to a lack of income the past few months. I am aiming to raise $5K-7K in funds as it would help create a comfortable cushion for this amazing transition in my life. I was recommended to share my story on this website in the hopes that reaching out on a public platform might help me reach this goal. 

Any amounts are appreciated and will go directly towards subsidizing any costs as I embark on this journey overseas.
