My Travel Story

My daughter and I have been through so much in the last ten years. And it seems like every day there is another reason to not want to get out of bed. But life does go on and we must go on with it right? But my daughter is going through the worst right now. Mental and physical issues, which of course makes me feel protective of her. We are both adults and We have never taken time off to get away and just breath and think clearly instead of always making choices based on the desperate situation at the time.
I owe so much money it seems, all the time, for rent, for gas, for bills in general. No matter how hard I work, it's all just too expensive here in Washington for two single women. I make money as a Massage therapist but during covid I lost most of my work and started acquiring debt. I can't help my daughter here with her issues because I'm scrambling so much to make things work. And all her problems seem to be right outside the door.
I would like to take a few months off, go with my daughter to Mexico for a mental and physical health retreat. And then make an educated and responsible decision about what and where we want to go from there.
