Two Kiwi Girls Take on Europe
We are two students from New Zealand taking a gap year to travel between finishing school and going to university. Having both moved from England to New Zealand in 2004, it has been 12 Years since Shaunagh has been able to see her family, and 5 years for myself. This is one of the last opportunities that we are going to have to go and visit them before we start studying in 2018. This is why we have chosen to Europe as our travel destination. It is close to where we are from, and being only young when we moved to New Zealand, never really had the chance to explore it when lived there. It will also give us both the chance to extend our language skills as I have been studying Spanish for 4 years, and Shaunagh French and have always thought there is no better way to extend those skills than visiting the countries themselves.
We have both taken on part time jobs, and finishing school in December, we will be committing to full time jobs to try and fund our trip. Due to the rest of this year being taken up by school/exams we are limited to the amount of hours we have to work. Therefore, any donations - big or small - would be so greatly appreciated!
