My Travel Story

Hello everyone! My name is Jackson Johnson, and I am an undergraduate at NC State University chasing a lifelong dream: a semester abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by world cultures and passionate about connecting with people from different backgrounds. Copenhagen has always been that out of reach destination that seemed like a perfect place to learn new cultural experiences. However, growing up, my family faced tough times when my father became seriously ill with pancreatitis, making travel nearly impossible for many years. Now with my university, there's a real opportunity to do both of what I love: Furthering my college education, gaining new perspectives, and a chance to bring international experiences back to my community and family. I would be eternally grateful for any contributions you could make to a 20 year old trying to learn a little something, and bring back some future stories to tell.
