The Appalachian Trail affects different people in different ways. Many thru-hike the 2,190 miles to find peace, others for the adventure, I simply wish to find myself. In this chaotic time of judgment and fake news, the world is desperate for control over our lives. That is why I am hiking, so that I may find my place before the world force feeds me one. This is my quest, my Heroes' Journey.
