The reason why I want to go to China as a volunteer is that I want to get to know the Chinese way of life, being a  Teacher there It will allow me a unique opportunity to experience a side of the country the ordinary traveler won’t experience. By living with and interacting with your family, I’ll have numerous opportunities to explore the local area and interact with other locals and get to see the real side of the beautiful country. The program will enable me to gain new skills,knowledge and real world experience. 
It gives me the opportunity to be apart of something bigger than myself and use my  own skills and knowledge to assist in the empowerment of children in remote places in China  The reason I chose China it's because by contributing to teaching at over-burdened schools, or helping a child to reach their goals in learning English i will assist in the development of skills, and help increase his/her confidence.
