When I was younger my entire childhood involved japanese things. Playing on my gameboy and the newest nintendo consoles like my DS and gamecube. It was all me and my older brother wanted to do. In my early teens I continued loving japanese games and shows like the netflix original "Terrace House" , "Midnight Diner" and "Samurai Gourmet" it made me fall even in more love with the japanese culture. I recently turned 18 im enrolled in the international bacceulerate school program in Lebanon. I decided to write all my history papers about Japan because the Edo period amazed me, the Tokugawa period shaped most of Japan we know today. I even wrote about the Japanese Yakuza and how they affect the economy. What I'm trying to say is that my love for Japan never became smaller it only grew more and more with the things I learned and got to know about Japan. I even saved up money during my teenage years to go visit Japan after I graduate from school but sadly life doesnt give you everything you want. In august 2020 the biggest non-nuclear explosion occured on the lebanese harbor leaving half of Beirut destroyed including my house, I wish that was it but it even left lulu, my long hair chihuahua with an enlarged heart. After buying all medicine we could find and taking him to all available doctors he died in september. I spent all my money trying to save my dogs life and it didnt work. I also had to repair the damages in my house leaving me broke. Im glad everything worked out though, my house is good again and im sure lulu is in good boy heaven but it breaks my heart that I will have to wait another few years to save up for my trip to Japan. I was complaining to a friend when she told me about this website, this brought me to tell my story here. I hope you kind people will be able to contribute to fulfilling 1 persons childhood dream, I would be forever grateful.
