My Travel Story

We are Diploma in Computer Science students from a local university in Perak, Malaysia. We will be graduating soon and we want to fully utilize our post-graduation time by going on a trip that we call "Journey of A Lifetime".

We will be going to South Korea, trying to scale certain part of the country while backpacking in few weeks (possibly months). During the trip, we will incorporate three (3) goals into the itinerary, which is :-
1. Learn, educate and research the local culture of Koreans.
2. Practical and hands-on approach of multimedia skills that we have learned throughout our Diploma study as a preparation for Degree/further study or work.
3. Self-improvement by studying cultures, appreciating nature and environment in foreign place and increase our independency.

We will be going there in Winter just to "kill two birds with one stone". While we travel to accomplish those 3 goals above, we decide to go there during Winter because there's no Winter in Malaysia and we sort of want to experience the Winter climate first-hand. The reason we chose South Korea as the destination is because cultures in Asia are more unique compared to western counterpart. At first, we thought of going to Japan, and work our way from east to west. But, the cost is too high in Japan so we decide to go to second most-east country, which is South Korea with a slightly lower cost to travel. We will try our best to go other country after South Korea, to learn and research more new culture and bring the knowledge back to our country, Malaysia.

Help us for our "Journey of A Lifetime" because neither of us have ever been abroad before, and neither of us has experienced foreign culture.
