My Travel Story

Welcome to our unique campaign! Join us on an unforgettable journey as we drive through the picturesque Mt Kenya region to raise funds and transform lives. In our classic 1974 Toyota Corolla (photo attached), we honour the legacy of my late father, who was deeply passionate about providing education to the underprivileged. Inspired by his commitment, I have teamed up with Mikono Ya Ukarimu, an organization that has already granted scholarships worth $5,000 since 2021 – a substantial sum in Kenya.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 or more during this drive to expand our educational initiative. We aim to empower 20 deserving youths by enrolling them in polytechnic institutes, equipping them with job-ready skills for self-employment and a brighter future.

By supporting our campaign, you contribute to the educational and career development of these talented individuals. Your donation will impact their lives, opening doors to new opportunities and helping them break free from the cycle of poverty. Through education, we believe in providing sustainable solutions that uplift communities and foster long-lasting change.

We chose the enchanting Mt Kenya region as our destination for several reasons. Not only is it a breathtaking backdrop for our journey, but it is also an area that faces significant socio-economic challenges. By focusing our efforts here, we directly address the pressing educational needs of the local community.

This project holds profound personal meaning for me. It allows me to carry forward my father's legacy and honour his commitment to education. Every mile we drive, and every dollar we raise, brings us closer to realizing his dream of providing access to quality education for the less privileged.
