My Travel Story

Hello and thank you for taking time to read my campaign! I'm fundraising to see my uncle, his wife and their four year old daughter, my cousin Claudia Belle in the Philippines. It has also been a lifelong dream of mine to see Japan which is a four hour flight from the Philippines.
I live in Los Angeles, CA and cannot afford to finance this ambitious journey alone, so I'm hoping this fundraiser will help me reach my goal. My uncle Will is more like a big brother since we're only five years apart in age and grew up together. His lovely wife, Lezyl was born and raised in the Philippines, so Will decided to retire there so she can be near her family, who I would love to meet. Claudia Belle, named for our great grandmother, is the most amazing little girl! She is the shining light of our entire extended family and I really miss her. I want to make sure she doesn't forget me as she gets older and it's a long journey for a five year old, so if I want to see her, I need to come to her.
I'm passionate about this journey because it will not only reunite me with my family but will serve as an immersive experience to learn about Filippino culture. I also see it as an opportunity to experience Japanese art and culture firsthand and enhance my own work as an artist.
