My Travel Story

In April of this year I am pursuing long term sobriety from opiates and have decided to hike the Appalachian trail beginning in West Virginia and heading south. I am looking for donations to get basic supplies that I will need to survive and food. I know that it doesn’t cost much to pitch a tent in the woods but know I will encounter situations where I will need a small amount of money saved up. My goal is to hike for 60-90 day’s at my own pace and grow closer to God during the trip. I truly believe that he is the only thing that can cure me of all worldly desires and addictions and I look forward to drawing closer to him during this time.
