My Travel Story

On December 4th 2023 Jayden and I (Paighton) begin our journey to Muizenberg, Cape Town, South Africa for 8 weeks to voluteer for the IVHQ Youth Sports Development Project! We are beyond grateful to be given the opportunity to make an impact in the childrens lives and community, along with our exchange of culture, self growth and transformation. We will be assisting with physical education in local schools, providing guidance and enabling students to practice and enjoy a range of sports and improve important social skills. We are passionate about evolving youth in sports to create exposure and opportunities to benefit a balanced lifestyle and mental status. This project is meaniful to us as sports have been a serious part of our life journey through the good and bad. We want to help the children grow through sports as our mentors and coaches did for us. Giving back to our global community is something very important to us, and learning life lessons from those we are here to support.
