My Travel Story

Hello! My name is Isabella and I am currently a third year nursing student at Cal State Fullerton. From a young age, I have always had an afinity towards helping people in need, such as starting the Project Care Club in high school providing bags with essential care items to the homeless population in Los Angeles, California. Now being in college, I have wanted to expand and be able to help people in a different country with applying the knowledge that I have learned so far in nursing school for providing healtchare to individuals in rural cities, such as in Antigua, Guatemala. I would love to be able to volunteer with International Volunteer HQ for their week long volunteer trip in Guatemala in April 2025 to aid individuals for their health needs and educate on the importance of healthcare. This mission is quite meaningul to me as it allows me to expand my passion for healthcare to those in need.
