MY BIG DREAM IN BOLIVIA
My Travel Story
I am Stefania and I am on my third year of Intercultural Communication. Like a lot of students, I have a lot of dreams but not enough money to make them come true. In February, I will go to Bolivia for an internship with VIS. I will take part of a program for the social and work reintegration of young people with a long stay in reception centers. This program, initiated with OFPROBOL (oficina de proyectos Bolivia) and UNICEF, offers young people who leave the reception centers (because they are adults): orientation, access to vocational training, life skills training, intermediation and support in job placement.
This experience is very important for me, principally for 2 reason:
1) I will write my thesis on this project
2) it will help me to understand what it means to work for an NGO (I would like, after finishing my studies, to work in the field of development cooperation)
