My Travel Story

by: Adaline Bisciglia Start Date: Mar 10, 2026 - End Date: Apr 13, 2026
My name is Adaline Bisciglia, I am a sophomore at Indian Trail High School and an active member of our DECA chapter. I am honored to share that I have qualified for the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) for the second year in a row, where I will be competing in Atlanta, Georgia in Human Resource Management Individual Series.

DECA has played a defining role in my education and personal growth. Through competition, leadership, community service, DECA has helped me develop skills that extend outside of the classroom, such as critical thinking, professionalism, public speaking, and confidence. Qualifying for ICDC represents not only a competitive achievement, but also a meaningful educational opportunity that prepares me for future academic and career successes.

Beyond competition, I am proud to serve as the Vice President of Community Service for Indian Trail DECA. In this role, I help lead initiatives that allow our chapter to give back to our community while developing leadership and teamwork skills among our members.

Advancing to ICDC again as a sophomore reflects not only growth in my skills, but also my continued commitment to challenging myself, and learning at the highest level. Attending ICDC provides networking opportunities with students and professionals from around the world, and feedback from business leaders that helps refine my skills. The experience motivates me to set higher goals for myself, and reinforces my passion for business, leadership, and service.

Your support through this fundraising campaign would directly help cover travel, competition, and conference expenses, making it possible for me to represent my school, community, and the state of Wisconsin on the international stage. Every contribution is an investment not only in my DECA journey, but in my education, leadership development, and future career.

Thank you for considering supporting my path to Atlanta and for helping me continue to grow through DECA.

With thanks,
Adaline Bisciglia
