My Travel Story

Ever since I was very young, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life. When teachers asked 'what do you want to be when you grow up?' I didn't answer with a princess, or the president like so many other kids do - I always said that I wanted to save animals. Ever since I have been working hard to fulfill this goal. In April, I will be graduating from the Univesity of Guelph with a bachelor's of science in Zoology. School has provided me with the background knowledge, the expertise, and the ability to do what I love. This trip however, will provide me with the practical experience I need to advance my education, my career, and my passion. The course will allow me to learn about African wildlife in a way that school never could, while allowing me to share my love of animals and my desire to protect them with like minded individuals. The experience I gain there, can be brought back here and applied to the rest o my life. I cannot wait to embark on this journey, and hope that my supporters are as excited as I am.
