My Travel Story

Hello! My name is Mireia from Spain. I'm 30 years old. 

Before I begin, I want to apologize for my English. I am not very good with the language but I am trying to improve.

After much effort, last year I got one of my dreams, graduating in Criminology. I had liked to finish my studies before, but due to my family situation it was not possible. However, I'm not going to bore you with sad stories, I'm not here for that. On the contrary, this is a happy story, the story of a new dream.

I have always felt that I have never had total control of my life. I tried not to do things that I liked so that other people could be happy. However, now that I have entered a new decade, I want to open my wings and run away from my comfort zone to study crime in different countries.

My main project, will consist of traveling to different countries, some qualified as very safe. 
From these I want to learn what factors, customs, security plans, etc., have made their crime rate so low. 
Then, I want to travel to countries with a much higher crime rate, to perform the same process and see what fails in their security plans.  In this way, I will be able to take the strengths of the safest countries to supply the lacks of the worst, creating a more unified security plan that can provide guidelines to fight crime more or less globally.

Unfortunately, conducting a study is not easy, nor cheap, many resources are needed, especially when they are going to lengthen so much in time. 
Even so, I don't lose hope of fulfilling this dream and I will be eternally grateful to anyone who can collaborate.
