My Travel Story

I am a father of a Canadian-born ten-year-old girl wishing to visit Canada for her eleventh birthday next January. Owing to unforeseen immigration push factors, the mother of my child sought refuge in Canada while expecting our only child and we haven't yet been able to meet due to financial constraints. 

For the most part, my family's assimilation to Canadian life has been met with reasonable financial contains while life in our native land, Eswatini, took a turn for the worse as anti-monarchy revolutions negated the country's socio-economic fibres. Further, many investors left our country which led to my retrenchment. 
In an attempt to secure a better life, I relocated to neighbouring  South Africa, although as an undocumented immigrant, a reality that makes my life harder since securing meaningful work, shelter or food has been my daily challenge. 
As such, I am hoping to secure funds to then travel to Canada as a visitor to see my family.
Through the planned trip, I especially yearn to see my child who is becoming a preteen. Honestly, it hurts me that owing to complicated realities, I am an absent father, coupled with an awareness of my daughter's mother leading a single parenting life away from her family and friends. 
I have heard great news about funding my project and this is the underlying reason I am delighted to submit my campaign here. Truthfully, seeing my family would be helpful for us all (mentally and spiritually).
