A Birthday Wish Wrapped in Hope, Love, and Legacy

After years of heartbreak, sacrifice, and surviving the impossible, I’m asking for something simple—but sacred: time with my family. (just four of us).  I’m dreaming of our first-ever family vacation together for my next birthday—to Cancun, Mexico.

We’ve never traveled together as a group. Each time we try, life throws us a storm: the loss of my father, the tragedy of COVID, where we lost ten loved ones, and the financial strain that has kept us in survival mode. Every time we try to save, another emergency pulls us under. Still, we rise for one another. Always. Because that's what families do.

This trip is more than a vacation. It’s a chance to heal. To celebrate how far we’ve come. To honor the ones we’ve lost. And to reconnect with our culture, with each other, and with joy.

Why Cancun?

It’s a place of warmth and heritage, where the rhythm of the sea meets the heart of Mexican culture. We want to experience local traditions, connect with our roots, and create memories that last longer than the hardships we’ve endured.

By helping fund this journey, you’re not just giving us a trip—you’re giving us a new chapter. A chance to breathe. A moment of celebration in a story that’s been heavy for too long.
