My Travel Story

Hi!

Anyone who knows me knows that it has been an aspiration of mine all of my life to travel. One of the main things I have always wanted to do is volunteering for those around the world who are less privileged than I am. I have been undertaking a TEFL teaching qualification for the last 2 years to qualify me to teach English abroad, which is really going to help me with this programme. 

After lots of research, I have decided to register with International Volunteering HQ, who collaborate with many charities and school organisations to make a real difference. I have been lucky enough to have been accepted onto the volunteer programme in Tanzania for 8 weeks, and will be going on 1st August 2023!

Any donations would be massively appreciated, as the cost of the programme is £2000 altogether so that is what I have set as my goal. This money will go straight to the charity and enables them to support volunteers like me do the job properly. It covers things such as teaching materials, supplies for the children and maintenance of the schools/ orphanages. Any extra money over the goal ammount I will be using towards taking extra supplies with me for the children (toys, blankets, clothes etc). All donations will be used towards this only. I will be covering all flights/ food/ accomodation myself. I will be documenting my journey every step of the way so you can see exactly how your donations are being used!
