My Travel Story

Hi everyone! 

I am reaching out in hopes to gain support as I prepare to travel abroad this summer to Guatemala. I leave for this trip July 2023 and will return back to the United States on June 2024. During my time in Guatemala, I will be placed in a secondary education school. There I will serve as a agricultural extension agent, teacher, and work closely with your community leaders to evaluate and meet the local needs of each community. I will learn about the Guatemalan agricultural, culture, and wildlife. During my time here, I will also be able to network with nearby animal sanctuaries and learn of their current programs. 

Not only will I gain immense experience and engage in mentorship, but I will have the opportunity to learn about more endangered species. I will gain insight to problems that exist in high poverty areas, that do not have the resources they need for sustainable agricultural in order to support their family and community.

This trip will surely be one that I will never forget, and I need your help to achieve my goals and raise funds. I will appreciate all the support I can get as I prepare for this journey.
