I would like to express my interest in carrying out my MSc study at your university; a university whose research /curriculum designs are aimed at a great pedigree and at the most recognized professional level for my career. I viewed your course modules and professional practice that comes with the course, and I have had an ardent interest in the university. The list of course modules,Career advice, dissertation and professional practice that comes with the course is an ideal blend to my career interest and the university is renowned and recognized worldwide because of their outstanding alumni.

My name is Nnaemeka, Solumtochukwu Modesta, a plant science graduate (BSc) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra state (2014). Msc on Digital and Social Media Marketing is designed to keep student at the forefront of modern marketing practices, build skill that bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in business, participation on real projects and firms, and seminars with group work which will equip its student with real life experience. Currently working as a freelancer on upwork.During Covid and lock down I was left with no job and I had the opportunity to discover Upwork, freelancer and other online platform which has helped me to discover my passion and I want to go digital and learn how to capitalise IT, Social media and Everything online has to offer inorder to build a career in that area. I believe being equipped in every aspect of Communcation Technology and having an indepth knowledge of App development, software and IT skills will come in handy in this new era of digitalized world. my primary focus is web and database technologies and mobile application development, which your university offers and more, but i want to begin my journey in digital and social media marketing . I am interested in widening my knowledge on the above listed and expanding my knowledge into related areas.

The growing need for change from analog to digital is obvious in every single economical sector in my country Nigeria especially the rural areas,  I have always aspired to study in this great institution that is well known for giving opportunities to students with the ever growining nerworking opportunies which will give me the opportunity to experience first-hand in a well-organized technology inclined establishment all the theoretical aspects of my study, have a critical understanding of the concepts and technologies underpinning modern distributed systems, mobile platforms and the internet, application of advanced techniques to develop sophisticated web sites and Internet applications and many more skills which I hope to gain from the university during my program.


The experience will greatly impact my intellectual and innovative skill, especially in technological aspects which will greatly impact my career and create an avenue for effective collaboration and partnership; thereby help me provide ICT solutions,marketing platform such as introducing new technologies which allow rural business women access to high-quality services by overcoming physical distances and road or rail infrastructure challenges which would help the rural business women modernize and manage efficiently their day to day activities.

 
I can work under stress with good sense of judgement and very fluent in written and oral communications in English. I have an in-depth problem solving and analytical skills with very strong creativity, and capable of working with little supervision. Moreover, and most importantly, I am open to learning new methods of solving technical problems, and open to people from every nationality, as I am resilient and patient. I look forward to hearing from you shortly towards the commencement of my MSc program at the University in January 2023.
