My Travel Story

Going to a small public charter school in Hawaii a lot of my studies incorporated enviromental conservation from the mountains to the sea. As I've moved onto higher education at Arizona State I realized how much miss working in nature conservation, I found this abroad program to work with sea turtles, sharks, and fisheries in La Paz, Mexico right up my alley! Moving to such a drastically different enviroment also made me realize that I took my home for granted, so I hope that my contribution will help future generations have the oppertunity to witness and experience how grand and beautiful nature is. Aside from my interest in conservation, I have a passion for adventure as I've grown up hearing my dad's backpacking stories that he has collected over 20 years! While this program isn't considered to be directly aligned with my major of technology entreprenuership & management, and minor in education, I know I'll learn lessons I can apply and pass on through my career.
