My Travel Story

Single female needing to relocate back to my hometown. Many people have told me that if I write a book about my life and have it published, it would probably be a top seller.
I will try to make a long story short. I was born and raised in East Chicago Indiana, lived in Vineland Nj for 15 years and now have been here in Laredo Tx for 2 years give or take.
After my separation from my husband in NJ and completing my last task for my son which was putting him into College, which I did, I came to Laredo to finally be with my mom again. I tried to adapt. I worked at a few places and at the final job I had, experienced discrimination and for my mental health, I needed to walk away. I asked my aunt who owns her own business if she would let me work for her knowing it would be a major pay cut until another better opportunity came along, she did, but the opportunity did not come, my bills began to swallow me. So I started looking for jobs in my hometown. I called a friend that I grew up with, and she was able to connect me with her manager and I was blessed to be given the opportunity to work there. The job is exactly what i've been doing for over 20 years which is in the medical field as a Medical Assistant. My friend also agreed to let me stay with her, just so long I help with some of the rent, and ofcourse that goes without say. But now being that I am limited to funds, I am asking for any donations to help cover my travels. I will be losing everything if I don't sell my furniture on time. My furniture all together is worth well over $3000 but the job that hired me needs me out there by the week of September 10th. I've put out an ad in the local newspaper asking for $2500 with many things free included, just so that may help get a hit. I will be closing my bank account soon because the only funds I have is what is in there currently and it's not much, not to mention, I will be driving alone for 2 to 3 days, which is nerve wrecking enough. I would greatly appreciate any donations. This is just a quarter of my struggles, any one that would like to know more, I wouldn't mind on telling. I have been through very dark times in my life, many dark thoughts have crossed my mind. Those days have passed, although it's still tough, I know longer see things as dark but more as a challenge that I must conquer and defeat. I now look forward to starting my new job, saving my money, getting my own home and possibly going back to school for my LPN.
So maybe a book is a good idea, to let others realize that life isn't easy but if you just take one day at a time and do the best you can to stay positive, tomorrow will be a brighter day! Thank you.
