My Travel Story

I have been selected to participate in Living Sport’s Seattle 2023 Sport Business Mini-Program this July. My application was one of hundreds submitted, and I am so excited that I was selected to participate. This will be an incredible opportunity for me!

During this 7-day trip, I and other selected participants will receive the opportunity to help organize the MLB All-Star Festivities! We will also study sport through local professional sports teams such as the Seattle Mariners, Seahawks, and more!

I will attend numerous skills workshop sessions throughout the program which are led by sport industry professionals and see the city’s attractions to learn about the culture of Seattle. Leaving this experience, I will have met a new network of sport industry professionals that could help further my career for years to come.

This is a great opportunity to grow both personally and professionally, but I still have much work to be done. To take advantage of this offer, I must raise at least $1,200 to cover program expenses, flights, and lodging. I work 3 jobs and will be working dilligently this summer to pay for this trip.
