I'm raising funds to support a life-changing journey to Prague, a city that has long captured my imagination through its rich history, powerful storytelling traditions, and iconic contributions to world cinema. As someone deeply passionate about film, media, and cultural influence, this opportunity is more than just travel, it's a step toward deepening my understanding of how stories shape nations, identity, and global perception.

Prague is not only visually stunning, but it’s also the heart of some of the most innovative and influential cinema in history. From the surrealist works of Jan Švankmajer to the bold films of the Czech New Wave, the artistry and resilience of Czech filmmakers have taught me how film can be a powerful form of soft power quietly influencing hearts, minds, and even political movements. I’ve spent years watching, researching, and falling in love with Czech culture, and now I have the chance to experience it firsthand.

This trip will allow me to study the intersections of media, history, and diplomacy in one of Europe’s cultural capitals. I’ll be visiting film museums, and cultural institutions, and hopefully connecting with local artists and academics. Immersing myself in Prague’s creative environment will give me new tools and perspectives that I can bring back to my studies and future work in media and international storytelling.
