Lance has been accepted into the prestigious British American Drama Academy (BADA) Mid Summer Program at the University of Oxford, a rare and life-changing opportunity for emerging actors. After a competitive audition process, he earned a coveted spot in this elite five-week training program, where he will be mentored by some of the world’s top theater professionals.

About Lance Avery Brown
Lance is a 2024 Kennesaw State University Theatre and Performing Arts graduate and is currently pursuing his Master of Fine Arts at Columbia University in New York. His focus, drive, and passion for the craft have allowed him to continuously refine his gifts, and his dedication to storytelling is unmatched.

Lance isn’t just a student of acting - he’s a student of life. He believes that musicality is woven into every aspect of our existence and is using that philosophy to bridge the gap between storytelling and lived experience. His original hip-hop works and ongoing collaborations with fellow artists have already showcased his ability to create, innovate, and inspire.

As he steps into the 2025 season, Lance is preparing to dive deeper into history, using theater as a lens to explore both himself and the world around him. This journey to Oxford is a pivotal step in that process.
