Hello there!

I'm Tinesha Lewis from Phoenix, Arizona and currently attending at ASU for my Bachelors in Architecture and Construction Management.  I will be starting the Architecture Masters program after graduation next year.

The end game of all my education is to become a well-rounded architect, with the ability to design eco-friendly buildings, sustainable environments, and help people in my community, so the educational journey does not end with me. I want to be an example of how a love of math, science, and creativity combined with compassion for the people and environments around this world all can lead to a better place for everyone to live in harmony far into the future.  The best way to understand arhitecture fully to serve the needs of others is studying abroad, understanding different cultures and building techniques in person.

I applied for the ASU: Design and Context in Europe program for a once-in-a-lifetime educational experience to enrich my learning in ways which can be passed on to others who want to traverse this path. I will be exposed to some of the best architecture in the world as well as study under passionate professors who are also practicing architects during the year.

Over the past few months, I have gotten my passport and kept up my 4.0 GPA to be accepted into this program.  Now, I have officially been accepted and need to make sure I can fund the trrip to Rome, Italy and Paris, France.

The trip starts on May 15 and ends in June.  However, as expected, none of these opportunities are free. I am asking for any sort support to help mitigate travel and tuition expenses that have been and will be incurred for this goal, which will be about $10k total, including travel & program fees / expenses.
