My Travel Story

I come from Nepal, a country rich in culture, resilience, and hope but also one where opportunities are often limited by circumstances beyond our control.

I studied in government schools, where resources were scarce, classrooms were crowded, and sometimes even basic learning tools felt like a privilege. Yet, in those same classrooms, something stronger than limitation was born curiosity, determination, and a quiet belief that I could go further.
There were challenges. Days when the path felt uncertain. Moments when financial barriers seemed louder than ambition. But I held on to one thingmy enthusiasm to learn, to grow, and to create impact. I never allowed my environment to define the limits of my dreams.

Today, I have been selected for the Yale Young Global Scholars Program in the United States an opportunity that represents not just academic growth, but a gateway to a global perspective. It is a place where I can engage with some of the brightest young minds, exchange ideas, and deepen my understanding of the world beyond borders.
But this journey is not just about me.

It is about carrying the voice of students like me those who come from under-resourced backgrounds but refuse to stop dreaming. It is about learning, returning, and contributing whether through healthcare, research, or community service to create meaningful change where it is needed most.

I believe education is not just a personal achievement; it is a responsibility. A responsibility to uplift others, to share knowledge, and to give back to the very communities that shaped us.
your support will not just help me attend this program it will help ensure that financial barriers do not silence potential. It will allow me to stand in a space where I can learn, represent, and grow into someone who contributes to a larger humanitarian purpose.
I am determined. I am hopeful. And with your support, I will make this opportunity count not just for myself, but for many others who see their dreams reflected in this journey.
Thank you for being a part of it.
