My Travel Story

In the Summer of 2025, I hope to travel to Argentina with my high school on a trip facilitated by my Spanish teacher Senora Mosquera. I am very excited about this opportunity! My travel experiences will undoubtedly change my perspectives and enhance my education. My global perspective will change as I experience different cultures and see how another country operates. This will also develop a growth mindset by making me more adaptable to facing challenges and problem-solving without my parents nearby. I am most looking forward to seeing many sights and being engulfed in the culture that I have only had the opportunity to read about in textbooks. I am especially excited to see the Iguazu Falls in Northern Argentina, which borders Brazil.  I am working hard to raise funds for this trip and will be helping to pay for a large portion of the trip myself. While I’m embracing the challenge of raising funds wholeheartedly, I could also greatly use assistance. That’s why I’m looking for family, such as you, to sponsor a portion of my experience. My goal is to raise a minimum of $2331.00. The organization that we are traveling with, EF tours, has set up payments of $333 due on the 23rd of each month starting in February.  I’m trying to raise enough for the first 7 months of payments or more, if possible, after that my goal is to pay for the other $3000 on my own or whatever is remaining. I’ve been working as a soccer referee for one year and just renewed my license for 2024. Also, I babysit for two young kiddos when I’m not volunteering in church, at track practice, or keeping up my GPA in school. My funds currently are going towards the purchase of a vehicle that can get me to and from my job after I turn 16 in 4 months. That’s why I am hoping for financial assistance, specifically for the first 7 months of payments so I can have some time to save for the remainder of the trip.  I greatly appreciate any contribution you are willing to make.
