My Travel Story

A trip to Melbourne, Australia has always been one of my biggest dreams. As a small child born in Buffalo, New York in the United States I was deeply enthralled with Australian culture and history. It was actually kind of funny how fascinated i was with a place that I have never been to. I have always wanted to visit and now I'm beginning to understand that my opportunity to is coming to a close. I am getting closer and closer to going to college. That's something I am very afraid of if I'm being honest. I do not come from a family of "means". I live with my mother who raised me by herself for 14 years. We struggled to live and were almost homeless at certain points. My father was in and out of prison since I was young. This all means I have no family assistance towards college and that I am taking on the full cost. Which is why this trip is becoming an urgent matter for me. I want to take this trip before I can't. I am certain I will be unable to afford to travel anywhere once I am in college. This trip also offers a unique opportunity for me to visit colleges internationally that could vastly improve my education I understand that donating money is difficult. There's nothing to gain here, there's no return on investment, there's no gifts given. All there is in return for your kindness is an extremely sincere thank you from me.

I would like to travel in early to mid July of 2020
The money will be used for hotel, flight, transportation, food, and any additional expenses.
