Help Aileen Arrange a Memorable 15th Anniversary for Her Husband

After 14 years of spending every moment in each other’s company, my husband and I have realized that it is time to welcome a new member into our family. However, I want it this moment to be perfect. I have planned for a trip to Edinburgh this time to celebrate our 15th anniversary, and hopefully, begin a new chapter in our lives.

This is our first time visiting this place together and I have it all planned. Since it is going to be a surprise; I will let him know only at the last moment! I can picture his expression as I write this, and I must say I would love to also see his reaction. But the surprise will not end just there!

Once we reach Edinburgh, on our first day, I want to take him to watch one of our favourite comedians, Greg Davies, perform on stage. Since Davies hasn’t been on a tour in the last four years, this is the last thing he would be expecting!

The next day, we will go on a walk down the Royal Mile, visit Edinburgh Castle, have a candlelit dinner at The Witchery and for dessert, have some fine chocolate from Coco Chocolatier of Bruntsfield (who doesn’t love some good chocolate?!). I know it sounds somewhat clichéd, but I believe all of you lovebirds out there will agree with me that the simplest things in life make us the happiest, especially when you have the love of your life to relish together in the experience.

Since nothing good comes easy, it turns out, however, that this trip is going to be very expensive. My husband sells toys and I work full time too. We get by alright, but won’t be able to fund this trip alone. Therefore, I sincerely ask for help from all the people out there who believe in love, know its essence and are interested in spreading it around. I need your invaluable support to fund this trip and help me surprise Raven. I really want this year to be a special year for us, and could really use all the assistance I can get from you. I have figured out that I need $4500 more to turn this dream of mine into reality.

I am specifically asking all the people out there who are in love and have been blessed with the perfect partner as I have, to come forward and help me raise the funds I need. Stand beside us and stand to support and enhance our love, our devotion to each other, and help us materialize it into the most memorable trip we have ever had. I truly believe that it is human nature to derive happiness from making other people smile, especially our loved ones. For me, that person is Raven, my husband, my partner and my best friend. He has devoted his whole life to me, and I think this trip will be the best way to thank him. And with God’s blessings, we might get an even better news after this improvised honeymoon is over!
